either unshare your music or move it to another folder. i dont share shit :)

right on- they are going after the people who share it- not download it.

 Yeah, I am thinking of deleting KaZaa now. Maybe then I won't get a lawsuit or whatever.

that doesn't matter.. it doesn't detect if you have it.. what you have done on it, is already logged on your ISP's servers.

I think this is fucking gay!! Music artists are fucking gay!! All they want is money!! Where is the love of making music and SHARING not selling music to those who enjoy it. Fuck all those people who just want fucking money. get a fucking real job  Now my head hurts

My computer crashed a little while ago from using kazaa and recently I just started having problems again. This shit just drives me crazy.

Do you realize how many MILLIONS of people and files/records they are going to have to go through to actually get a "FAIR" trial for those who are cought. There is no way they can get everyone on the list. If they intend on not having a counter suit from assholes like me who will ask the question is there one person out there on a list that shares mp3's that is not in this law suit?? that would equate to a speed trap with cameras and you rule out who is speeding and getting a ticket and who is speeding and not getting a ticket. there are alot of things out there that can be thrown at them. I want to start a "club" where like 30 people will go out and each buy a cd, then copy it to their harddrive and switch with the next member. we aren't making money and how is anyone gonna track that shit???? Let's all share our music through aim or something.

Is it only KazaaA that is being targeted or Kazaa-Lite also? because regular kazaa is garbage, i don't think anyones got that spyware crap anymore.

they said they were gonna do the same thing back before napster got shut down

i only download stuff off kazaa and never share any files.. honestly there is no fucking way they can organize a lawsuit out of this. get on kazaa and look the stats.

right now mine says:
4,143,619 users sharing 853,225,669 files worht 6,384,256 GB... how in the hell are u gonna sort thru all that to find what users have what songs? and those #s dont include people like me that dont share anything and just download.

:bs: on this lawsuit

A few months back, my best friend got a little something from Verizon with his kazaa sn on it, saying you must stop sharing music, blah blah blah you can be sued, this is your last warning. It could have been a fake or something, but it seemed real enough, so I have been kazaa free for months now. I would call :bs: on this too but I just don't want to be one of the 5million people that has a lawsuit. hehe. :D

And if you are a hardcore gamer, you know it makes your computer run like shit when its on there.

thats why i goto the cerver and mp3 rooms on aol to download my warez and mp3's....

im not an international law expert BUT....

what about the kid in, oh lets say.....Germany.....who is on Kaazaa?

are they going to file an international lawsuit against him?

they'll never shut it down. FUCK buying cd's. even if i had the money i wouldnt buy shit.

cheap jew bastard record companies are out to make millions on the average public.

This could be considered violating the first amendment..... think about it... not allowing us to have the freedom of sharing public information and music... its gotta be breaking some kinda law if you ask me.... FUCK THEM im not quitting Kazza. I need my porn damnit. :D
