I know how to choose what color the bearing is supposed to be. This is my setup...b18c1 block with b18b rods/crank connected to b18c5 pistons(gsr block, type r pistons, ls crank/rods) with b16 head -crower dual springs/retainers and sir cams . I have a hookup at the local honda dealership so i'm wondering if a yellow bearing for a acura b-series is the same spec as a yellow bearing honda b-series.

1.So can i order my b18 bearings from honda?

2.If so what do i get ls or gsr main bearings?

3. What year make and model should i tell honda?
(probably 94 del sol vtec)

1. yes

2. if you know how to choose the color, then choose the color any normal way. match the number on the crank with the letters on the block, look it up in the helms for the color, and thats the color you need.

3. year make and model really dont matter when ordeing the bearings. just get the colors right. it might help to tell them that its for the b series engine so they dont give you d series shit. yea so go ahead and tell them any car that has a bseries engine in it.
