Belt Adjustment

so when I changed my water pump I changed the belts. The Chilton's "Manual" says "tighten to appropriate tension"... thanks for the quantified answer assholes...

so I made then taunt, thinking that they will stretch over time anyways.

Too much or just right? I wasn't exactly getting allot of torque resistance from the adjustment bolt when I stopped turning it.

hmm it's just snug, I wasn't trying to gurrila tourqe it. I'm sure it will pick up some slack in the next week or so, then I'll re adjust it
