I am curious to where the best internet site is to download music. I used to use WinMX but that sucked, then I went to Kazaa and a month later my computer crashed. I had tons of spywear on my harddrive from all the music downloaded. My buddy told me use Kazaa lite?? Anyone use this? Any input would help and thanks, oh by the way I have dial up. Fuckin 56k!!!!


And I don't give to fucks if this has been posted already and is old and shit.

I use Limewire, which is OK, but I hear that Kazaa Lite is the way to go. No spyware or anything.
 
I use kazaalite. It is alright. Decent speed, lots of users, no spywhere or popup adds but you still have to watch out for viruses when you download programs.
 
another plus about limewire is that it searches through Kazaa, and about half a dozen other P2P clients including Limewires own.

i use it ... i love it ... i just dont DL programs off there
car videos, porn, and music ... thats it

limewire, kazaa, and fileshare are all on the same network. i use kazaa lite and its pretty good. i used to use direct connect by loggin on a server is a bitch and you can only download from one person. on kazaa, when i had cable internet i managed to reach 300k/s sustained. now that im back to 56k its around 6k/s. kazaa lite comes with a few extras like avi-preview, dat viewer, speed booster, etc.
 
i use kazaalite.. altho i got a virus trying to dload some CS shit awhile back (stupid fuckers), but i only get porn and truck vids on there now. With no sound card, music is useless at this moment.
 
Could someone link the correct place to download Kazaalite, and yes I tried www.kazaalite.com then i did a search and found that there are many websites out there that off kazaalite but I am not sure if those are just some type of covers for the program that actually has spyware on it???thanks.

i used to have kazaa and i got sick of all the damn pop-ups so i got rid of that and now i run kazaa lite. it's great. i used to use winmx but i got fustrated with people not having the shit i wanted and slow download speeds. i also tried limewire but didn't like the interface at all. kazaa lite is the way to go.
