hey im currently dropping a b18c1 into my car. its not all too bad, but if your trying to stay on a 5k budget then all you will do is drop a stock b18 into your car. i mean right now ive got some serious cheddar in my car on this project. like it dosent take too much heres something i found that might help you out HASPORT i had a d16z6 and it was a fun motor but i wanted the power option of a DOHC and if i was going to go DOHC i figured id go about it the right way.

ive been hearing alot about EG civics with the B18C head and the B20 block but ive never seen it against a H22A EG. Plus the H22A makes abit more power than the b18c
