I have 94 accord 4 door best swap 4 dis car?
a VR35DETT yes sir
F'ck it, 200sx Fwd Sr20det swap.
If you search hard enough I believe you can find a fwd transmission for a Chevy 454 from an old Rv.
well budget 1500 and power wise over 200 horses
Fuck it. go RB26dett or Hemi:fosho3:
he already has a hemi
Not going to happen then. If you were SUPER thrifty you could maybe scrounge together an H22 swap for $1,500 total, but even the H22 tops out at 195-200 horses and 160 ft/lbs torque...
Junkyard turbo the F block, assuming it's in good condition.
This is probably your best option to make 200+ horses on that budget...
Word..... Can i use f22 trani and do i need h22 ecu and wire harness what about turbo charging it
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking here. If you're talking about for the H22 swap, then yes, you can use the F22 tranny to save a few bucks. The gear ratios aren't as aggressive as the H22 transmission's though. And you don't necessarily need the entire wire harness, but you will need to at least make a few wiring changes (to accomodate VTEC) and yes, you will need an H22 ECU or another ECU that's been reprogrammed to run an H22.
As for the turbo setup, check out our reference section articles and the sticky articles in the "Forced Induction" forum to get an idea of what you'd be getting into...
kool brutalB83 ... any books on honda swaps u recommended
found a h22 4 $850 has about 10,000 miles on it is this a good buy?
You can try "Honda Engine Swaps" by Aaron Bonk for some good info. You should be able to find a copy pretty much anywhere (Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon, etc.)...
If it's in good shape, then yeah, that sounds pretty decent...
friends tell me to buy a p28 ecu is this right?
for tuning purposes, yes... to just slap in there to run the h22, no
Separate names with a comma.
