better engine to build overall

hey a couple questions which engine would be better to not only buil but also boost b18c1 b18c5? ive been readin that the diffrence between the 2 isnt much aside from the better head flow and compression

if you're building the motor, there's little point to getting the c5. the c1 and c5 castings are pretty much identical. if you're doing rods/pistons/cams anyway, there's no point to spend the extra money on the c5.
