Tire size calculator

the 205 will be 10mm wider

stock tire: 195/60/14
sidewall : 4.6in
radius: 11.6in
diameter: 23.2in
circumference: 72.9in
revs/mile: 869.0

new tire: 205/50/14
sidewall: 4.0in
radius: 11.0in
diameter: 22.1in
circumference: 69.3in
revs/mile: 914.0

those measurements are approximations... but should give you a pretty close idea to what you will be dealing with

Then you start going from company to company and realize that company A's 205/50/14 is 3/8ths of an inch taller than company B's 205/50/14. Although neither will admit it.

yes... if you have a wide enough 14 to fit a 205

i wouldn't do it.

195/60 on a 14 is what you want to run

Well its my daily driver but i want to take it to the strip every once and a while also

seriously dont bother with drag radials
they suck
if you daily drive them you are going to eat through them stupid fast
and they dont have the grip that a real drag slick is going to give you at the track

basically its the worst features of both tires combined

get a set of street tires then get a set of dedicated track tires
it will cost you less in the end

i have the 205-50-14 BFGs on steelies. but i only use them on saturday nights or at the track

but they will fit and hold a bead.

i would not use the for DD.
