I am really enjoying it thus far. Just picked Elizabeth up so I have pretty much just started the game.

If you were in to the previous ones then this one is a must play. Try not to read any spoilers or anything and play it as soon as possible. The ending is quite a trip, and it really takes the whole Bioshock concept and puts it on a grand scale...

Yep, you've still got quite a bit to go. Let me know what you think of the ending. I thought it was quite mind-blowing...

Nope...totally new. Turn of the century (like early 1900s) and it takes place in Columbia, a floating city...

2 was actually pretty decent, which surprised me. 2 wasn't made by Irrational Games and it wasn't directed by the same guy, so I assumed that it was probably going to suck. Surprisingly though, it really wasn't bad. Not as good as the first, but not bad. The plot is pretty interesting.

I think the thing that makes it not quite as good as the first though, is that it's set in Rapture again. Like I said, the plot is good and you do get to explore some new areas of Rapture, but it's not quite as amazing as seeing it the first time. That's what I like about this new one...totally new setting. Also, Ken Levine who directed the original is the director on Infinite.

Just FYI, all you need to understand Infinite is the first game. The 2nd one isn't even referenced...

The Bioshock series is such a neat interesting series. I always loved the incredible details. Played it in the dark at night with headphones the first time I tried it. Was a little creepy...

Yeah, this new one is a little less creepy, probably just because the setting is much more open and not so claustrophobic like Rapture. There are some spots that are pretty dark and creepy however. The story in this new one is just incredible though...

Finished it the other day. Hot damn it was a good one. The ending was fantastic. I thought I had a bead on how they where going to play it but they spun it very well. I am considering trying 1999 mode... But that will be when the family is out of town as I do not want to yell and scream in front of them ha ha.

As soon as I got done I wanted to play it again with the perspective of knowing what was happening. Fantastic expansion of the Bioshock universe in to something so much bigger than the first game. I don't really know where they can go with it from here, but I hope that they make another some day.

Also, I hope they release some DLC soon!

I concur, this is one of the few games that I am actually excited for DLC.
