Black Exhaust Tip

Is it normal for the exhaust tip to be black after a while? No black smoke comes out of the exhaust.

Typically yes... go look around in a parking lot sometime. Now if the entire rear end of the car is turning black, you have a problem.

lol so true, theres a white accord with e DTM tip, where it has a 45 degree angle at end bending up, u know the ones. and the back bumper is always caked in black shit. so funny.

mine got a little burnage from my muffler being real close to the rear bumper lip. crappy.
