Just bought a television for our oldest at Best Buy (online).

32" Samsung 60hz 1080 LED for $277.

Hard to find a 1080 in a 32". Most are 720. He's a gamer and we figure 1080 would be his preference.

Best Buy had other competitors beat by $30-70.

Hard to find because it's a pointless feature. You can't really tell the difference from a 720 to 1080 tv that is 32 inch.

yeah but they still are keeping track of all the deals on going and cyber monday as well. it's a great place to see all the deals

And 32" should have been well under $200 on Friday- seems like one of the hot deals this time around was the 32" 720p TV for $98 or $99. Last year I picked up 2 1080p 32" TVs for $175 each. -I- can tell the difference, dunno about you.

Anyone doing Cyber Monday shopping today?

Just picked up Skyfall and Star Trek: Into Darkness on BluRay from Amazon for $8 each!

Question is, is it a difference because its 1080 vs 720 or is it a difference because one tv is a better than the other?

Dunno, haven't compared many bottom of the barrel 32" TVs. In my opinion Sceptre (my 32s) is a solid panel manufacturer, but offer zero frills.
