A bleed valve is a fitting at the end of a line, such as your brake line, or clutch line, that you can open to get the air out of the system. It is commonly used in conjunction with a bleed bottle, which uses pressure to suck air out of the system and leave the fluids. There is also a bleed valve on the top coolant hose at the block so you can bleed your coolant system of air when refilling it..
