y0 dat shit be mad fucken tYt3 y0!!!!!!!
you fucking suck at the internet
wonder what the price of the tape is
about $500ish for the vinyl wrap itself ( Sign Supplies and Equipment: LG AirFREE Vinyl - Low Price Guarantee ), if you want to do the installation yourself (no graphics just plain vinyl)
printed wraps cost anywhere from $1200 - $5000+ installed
E is correct. at the Spartanburg SC car show I entered around this time last year there was an EH coupe that was wrapped live.
i'd rather paint my car a different color for that price.. hell i could have it painted a couple of times
^ Agreed, wasnt there a movie where they used a BMW that had that stuff on it? They would rob the bank in a black car, park in an alley and rip the vinyl off and viola, blue car.
its been done a few times in movies
hell it was done in 'Johnny Dangerously'
Taxi.. and it was the hot ass Victoria Secret model driving.. whats her name?
Wow, that's pretty cheap... cheaper than a decent paint job, and much easier to apply and remove.
Hmm. I did want a black S2k...
The reason the guy didn't get his BRAND FUCKING NEW BMW painted, is that it costs a boatload, like blanco said.
For a rear bumper on a 318ci, it's roughly 1200€ with the paint matched.
Besides, this way he doesn't have to worry about rock chips when driving on the autobahn. I got a chip the other day and it dented the hood, after taking the paint with it.
A lot of guys who autocross and track race here use the vinyl to protect the front bumper and fenders. I asked one guy about it, and he said that he puts on two layers "To protect his baby". (He drives a 2008 M3.)
That being said, I'd rather use the 3M clear vinyl as a protectant, then I can leave it on all the time.
wow, that actually turned out pretty good
Vinyl and paint are the same price. I did this when I worked at the body shop,
3 years ago.
People keep thinking about cheap paint jobs when it comes to pricing out these things
a legit paint job can run you easily 5K+
I think it's this website, just like when people were thinking how B was crazy for spending so much money on a set of wheels.
We're not talking cheap chit here.
A paint job shouldn't cost more than $50, duh... haha.
IMO, a decent... not too extravagant paint job should cost no more than 2.5k.. mayby 3k..
looks good but when he goes to remove all that vinyl, id hate to be the one to remove all that vinyl residue thats gonna be left on.
the thing is with the printed wraps, anything that can be produced on a large scale printer can be put on a car... in full picture quality... you could NEVER get that kind of detail out of paint for any price
anyone remember this car
sorry about the huge pic, but otherwise you dont really see the detail
