Boose D16?

What can I expect from a boosted d16z6 stock with IHE? What kind of kit should i look for?

well it is impossible to have a turbo kit and a header at the same time...
i believe greddy sells a nice kit for that motor...
personally, i would build my own kit. you'll appreciate it more then...
you should be getting close to 180 hp with a nice tuned setup.

I talked to my boy Charles who runs a shop in Florida, and he dyno'd a civic EX(D16Z6) the other week. Greddy turbo kit (still using the FCU) and Greddy TYPE 31V FMIC at 9PSI. That guy threw down 197 WHP (dyno jet dyno). He had exhaust an BOV also. Not too sure about what else he had. But it didn't seem like he had much more than that yo!

i got the y8 (96 ex engine)
and with only the greddy kit and blow off valve, with NO intercooler, stock exhaust, stock cat

im running around low 15's in a heavy ass ek coupe.


to put it in more relevant terms.....

im as fast as a 1998 bmw Z3 2.8L......how do i know? me and my friend who owns one just raced earlier tonite....

As for building a custom setup, is there a manual anywhere? What do I need, where can I find out.
