bought the sog chissel knife

that was on the Woot-off last week.

Now that it's here, i'm not really sure why...

It's an interesting piece to say the least, but it has virtually no 'daily driver' uses to it.

The sheath's belt loop is too thin to go over just about anything but something real thin (certainly my normal leather belt won't fit in it) and the clip that doubles also seems unreliable as it has low spring tension. And then, you're still left with 6" of knife handle to jab you in the side. Maybe if a boot had a belt, it would make a good boot knife....

ohh well, it's still cool, and seems to be built well. I just don't know what to do with it. heh

i think if i lived where bamboo grew, it would be a nice 'hatchet' kinda knife for stuff like that.
