haha no shop ad, i was owed a FEW favors.....read: designing his website and maintaining it for the past 4 years for free...

hopefully it will be a textbook bolt on with no major surprises...

the funny thing is, the only other "major" mechanical thing i have done to my (or any car for that matter) is install a cold air intake. :lol: :lol:

what the fuck did i get myself into? :lol:

just a warning .... bolt-on generally means if you fuck with it you can get it to work... profanity helps :)
 
only hard part should be the blue box install. which will be put on ebay as soon as i start work this summer and can afford to buy a vafc and some injectors and that resistor box thingy.

that's gonna be a nice setup. looks like you got everything that's needed.
 
You can Make D series motors put out really good power too bad for the same price you could have a better setup with a B series the only reason people tend to build the Ds is so they can say well its a SOHC motor

Have fun blowing it up =) hehehe

if you need an extra motor let me know I have one sitting around

My 15G kit will be at the house on the 24th! But I already have the type 24v FMIC sitting right here next to me. I will own one very very soon. I plan on running it at 8.5 PSI. I talked to a friend in florida who owns a shop and he dyno'd a D16Z6 with the 15G kit and the smaller type 31v FMIC and he threw down 197WHP@9PSI. I am dynoing mine right after me install to get it tuned properly. I suggest the same for you too!

BTW Jeff you got a Z6? I am looking for a spare to build while I stay at 8.5PSI

i take care of my cars and care more for my car than i do my girlfriend.

my car is babied and will be even MORE babied now that it is boosted...

jeffie....are you in so. cali? i need a y8 oil pan. z6 and y8 oil pans are same?

lemme know what u wanna part out, and if the z6 and y8's are interchangeable....

how bout ur ecu? i think im goin obd1 very soon :D
