Probably have to pull the bumpers and check the mounting points. Course it could just be the material warping slightly from age.

Hey brad,

What steering wheel is that and what adapter did you use?

I picked up two wheels because I didn't think I could do it all with one. On metal it works great! But I tried a spot on the front bumper and I got like 4 spots where it ripped the paint right off, its hard to get the stripe off but not take the paint off. Everywhere else looks great. I may have to do some wetsanding then buffing on the door because there is a tape line where the pinstripe was.

I just had to show some of my fav CRX's.

why not just sand them off and fix the minor rust then repaint the whole car the same color???

Step away from the heat gun!!!!

Get eraser pads (made for an air tool but will chuck into any drill)
AES Industries 51823 - Pinstripe Eraser

Should be available at an automotive paint supply shop. General parts stores don't usually carry them. Not alot of people have even heard of them. its a big eraser that you chuck into a drill or air tool, and it removes pin stripes/bumper stickers/adhesives without damaging the paint. Amazing tool to keep around. Very handy.
Thanks phyre!!

Since then I've done the back bumper so I'm over half way done! I can't wait to finish, wash, wax....

Actually I need a bit of help here...could I wet sand, say with 1500 grit, to get a couple of gnasty spots smooth then buff it to get rid of the sanding marks? I'm only cutting into the clearcoat.
