Has anyone here had to replace there brake booster and if so how hard was it to change. Do you recomend that it should be fixed by a shop. I have 90 civic hb
 
i changed mine .... its not TOO hard

take off the master cyl
go under the dash and disonnect the pin from the brake pedal (hardest part)
4 bolts on the booster connecting it to the firewall
might be a pretty tight squeeze getting it out

then just put it back on
 
I have changed many on gm's but not a honda and it isn't too tough at all to change on a gm.

I don't think it would be too tough at all, just remove the master cylinder, and a few bolts against the fire wall, and remove the bolt holding it to the brake pedal and you're home free. Well taht's how simple it was on a s10 blazer atleast.
