I looked around this site for some time and found nothing related to my problem.

I have a 2000 Civic ex 4 door, Whenever I depress the brake pedal I hear a "clunking" noise from both left and right front sides. The sound starts off from the passenger side then driver side ends up making the same "clunk." The noise does not happen when I'm going in reverse and stop, only in the forward speeds; coming to a stop.
I have new upper-control arms (oem) with 7,000km on them, with new tie-rods (oem) as well.

My hunch is that it could be the sway-bar bushings.....
Any ideas would be appreciated.

nothing beats taking the wheel off and grabbing things ;)

at the same time you can check your pad wear.
