My cars rear pads screach and I dunno if its a piston not releasing the caliper if so what do I need to do to replace it ill look in the service manual. The guy at the gas station said my pads are still good so its definitely not them.

many times a screaching noise is cause by uneven wear of the rotor. thats why most times the noise will go away in about a month as things start to wear more evenly again.

Could always just pull your rotors and get them turned. Wouldn't be too long of a chore and it'd be a good cheap fix.
