I'm pulling together turbo parts for a custom kit. I have absolutly no idea where to get the oil supply items needed. Also if anyone knows where and how to send to oil to please let me know. Oh also if anyone knows where i can get the fastners for all the turbo components please let me know also. Thanks

there's 2 ways to do it now....

#1- the old way,

you need a BSPT to NPT adapter, and then run the npt fitting out to the turbo through a -3 or -4 an line.
you also have to kinda work around the oil dash light wire thats there...

or, GE now has a oil filter plate- it goes between the block and the filter, and has a line out. The advatage to this is that its a quick screw on deal, and offers semi-filtered oil as opposed to block oil. the difference is minute at best, but hey, why not.

HTH

Minute, my ass. I LOOOOOVE my GE kit. Fits nice and clean, and there's NO chance of breaking part of your block off screwing around with the factory pressure sender.

Peace of mind at last! :)

This goes between the block and the oil filer, and has holes predrilled for an aftermarket oil pressure sender and one more connection for you oil feed for LS/VTEC or Turbo, or whatever.

dumb question, please bear with.

in order to hook up the oil feed line to the turbo.....

you

1) unplug the oil sensor from the block
2) screw in a "T" fitting
3) run one end of the "T" fitting to the turbo via hose
4) plug the oil sensor back into the other end of the "T" fitting

is this correct? for a greddy 15g kit?

::bump::

c'mon i KNOW somebody knows the answer to my previous question....

on the oil pump you will see a neck that comes off.......with a bolt with a alen-key insert.

Take that out and go to your local performance shop or speed shop and they can order you a fitting that can fit into there.

Make sure that fitting has a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread)

Then you will need a adapter fitting....... 1/4" NPT to 3AN

Then you will need 3-4ft of SS line 3AN on both ends

Then you will need another 1/4 NPT to 3AN adapter fitting

Last of all Tap your turbo for that size fitting (1/4" NPT)

Connect them all together and you are done
