broken valve cover stud

i was changing the valve cover gasket today on my b18a, and as i torqued down the bolts, one of them snapped off inside the nut. does anyone know if they are replaceable, or am i shit outta luck?

they are replacable, but they arent very cheap.

Eh? I got mine for something like $5

You just take off the valve cover, and use a 10mm wrench to remove the old stud and replace it with the new one.

Yep, thats all, make sure you torque it properly though.

yeah i used a 10mm and almost stripped it cause it was so tight on there. had mechanic friend do it.

im pimpin the ARP replacement valve cover stud right now...

a.k.a. a rag with 'ARP y0!' written on it with a sharpie stuffed into the hole.

Go to the junkyard and pull one off a dead engine. Worked for me.

they are less than $5 from the dealer, and they are brand new

the local acura, schaller in manchester ct. they had it in stock, and their retail was 5 bucks.
