    my bro bought a 86 prelude to drive while he was bulding up his civic, I looked and his engine code is BT and I was wondering if anybody knew any specs about this engine

    BTs were in the '86 Accord LX-i and Prelude Si. It is a 2.0 12V SOHC. Around 110hp and 114lbs tq. It was an okay engine for its time but the internals were unstable if you ask me. I think (but don't hold me to this if I don't remember right but) the redline is 6200 RPMs. In 86 they also had the BS (no not bullshit) which was the same engine but was carburated and was in the Accord DX/LS.
