ok i got a complete b16 swap from a friend of mine for real cheap. i don't want to put it into my current car because i am gonna be selling ti soon. i wanted to boost the b16 but figured while i have it out i should build the bottom end. i want to fill the block, get pistons, and rods. would i need to get a new crank or should the stock one be ok? what would a good compression ratio be for the pistons? it was recommended i use 8.5:1, sound good? any other suggestions besides ACL bearings and maybe new head studs?

how much boost you planning on running if you are going that low on your compression? and also on the crank that is up to you if you have the money for it go for it if not get it polished and change the bearing
