i heard that a 99-00 civic si cold air intake will fit onto a b16a1 with a little modification, is this at all true? if not then is there anything that will fit as far as CAI's go?

You can use the 99-00 Si one, it's a 3" pipe, but you have to cut the hole for the fenderwell to enlarge it some.

The 2.5" piped one for the 88-91 Civic/CRX Si works fine with no mods, also.

just use the short ram intake.....


you wont know the difference between the two, and it cheaper

just buy two really cheap short ram intakes and make a custom semi cold air, you won't be sucking in hot engine air and nor will you been sucking up water when you go through a puddle or drive in the rain. . .
