Arnold for president?? i know they're already trying to alter the bill of rights/constitution so he can run next term, but sheesh... WTF.

i think CA is fucked up enough as it is, we don't need to be our own country. but as much as i hate cali's laws and BS, i don't think i'd ever leave.

Learn to swim!

Bush won the election, get over it. I wouldn't miss California anyway...just leave the Governator, he's on Bush's side anyway.

Actually, California itself wanted to break up at one time. During the mid to late 30s, there was a strong movement to break up California from Redding (Where I live. About 160 miles north of Sacramento and biggest population until you hit Salem or so; 130,000 people plus 230489027123497 Cows) all the way up to Roseburg, Oregon. Redding would be it's capital and the newly formed state would be called the State of Jefferson. It actually got a lot of attention and it seemed it could happen. Well December 7, 1941 rolled along and TORA TORA TORA. It all went to hell after that.

Bush didn't threaten the voters with violence, did he?

When your campaign says that if their opponent wins that terrorists will surely attack, you're playing the same game. Fear.

George Bush never threatened anyone with violence...why can't you people just support the president and stop being so bitter? He won fair and square (both times). Here's a little piece of trivia for you - John Kerry, along with Jane Fonda, was honored in North Korea's hall of fame for giving hope to continue the war.

In a somewhat analogous situation, a released French journalist held captive by islamic extremists has told of how the Extremists had hoped that Bush would win the election. Bush being reelected, they said, would ensure continued support for their cause.

Fair and square? Let me guess, you watch Fox news? Perhaps with a side of Limbaugh? There is a huge recount going on in Ohio right now, because of massive voter fraud. There have have been numerous instances of voter fraud happening in predominantly democratic areas of swing states, which convienently dont get covered by the mouthpieces of the republican party (commercial news). Im not going to bother posting the specifics because there are a number of threads that already discuss the issues. But to say that Bush won the election "fair and square" is a gross oversimplication and shows ignorance on your part. Plus saying that because a person is our president is a reason to get inline to follow them is absurd. I wonder if that is that attitude that you took when Clinton was involved with the Lewinsky scandal? Its funny though, all the conservative pundits that spout that garbage had no problem with not supporting Clinton on a number of issues, including increasing defense spending for counter-terrorism.

here is an interesting fact, Henry Ford revieved the highest award that a non German can recieve, from National Socialist Germany. Are you going to boycott Ford now?

And to address the threats of violence, Vice president Dick Cheney said
"If we make the wrong choice, then the danger is that we'll get hit again -- that we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States"
He is in fact threatening violence will occur, in the form of a terrorist attack, should Americans make the "wrong choice".

I semi-agree with the guy above me. But to talk bad about clinton in same with bush, that's just wrong.

I'll retort some crap that I have before, during clinton's testimonial footage that was being broadcasted on every single channel besides golf, he was busy getting a standing ovation from the UN. A feat I doubt bush will accomplish.

I believe he's our president for the next 4 years, and I don't want anything ot happen to him during that, because honestly I really don't want dick cheney to take the reigns.

With my political beliefs, I think John McCain should run for president after his term. For the last 9 days, staying with my gramps in old people capital of the world, fort myers, florida, I had to endure fox tv everysingle day, with a highlight at the brit hume report at 6. It's a hilarious show.

But honestly, from someone that wouldn't vote for bush, all elections are probably dirty, probably on both sides, you can tell in my state, Washington.

Hopefully gregoire cheats through it when rossi sues the state.
