i was wondering if i could stick a b7 cam instead of a b2 cam in my b1.some say you cant but why not?dont want to swap the motor yet, cause im just tweaking this motor a bit until i drop in a f22vtec.so what cams would fit in there without swapping the head?

You can use it. The base timing (key location) for the cam may be different- but it'll fit.

Timing meaning the way that the cam fits into the cam gear. You might be a few degrees off one way or another depending on the cam/gear/head combination.
