I have heard cheap ones like that can loosen up and change settings. But cant say first hand. I bought Skunk2 Tuner series adj cam gears and they have held there settings fine so far.
 
I got a decent deal on an Ebay bidding war for $151 delivered but its for a DOHC motor. Look around and be patient. You'll find a decent cam gear
