I went to a local dyno garage yesterday and I told the guy at the counter that I wanted to tune the Aem Tru Time cam gears I have on my h22. He told me there's no point if I just have stock camshafts (which I have). He told me to just keep the cam gears at 0 deg. Is he right? Or should I or could I adjust the cam gears and would there be a difference if I did tune them with the stock camshafts?

He is right to a certain extent you can tune it but your gain would be very minimal, if you had aftermarket with a higher lift and duration you would see more.
