can i put a f22a1 in a 94accord

    i am tryin to put a f22a1 out of a 91 accord into a 94 accord witch is a f22b2

    as long as its the same obd it should hook right up

    well as long as its obd1 ecu to obd1 ecu it should be fine

    obd = on board diagnostic (meaning ecu generation)

    obd0 = < 91
    obd1 = 92 - 95
    obd2 = 96+

    91 = obd0

    youll need to use the distributor and the wiring harness from your 94 accord , but other than that i THINK youll be okay. i cant think of anything else that wont wire up. You might have a problem with a few of the sensors, but i couldnt say exactly which ones. I think the injectors are the same wiring for that engine and most of the plugs are pretty close. If you get a full harness with the f22a1, youll be fine as long as you get the correct ecu. If you cant get the ecu for the engine, youd be better off just making your 94 harness work on the older engine.
