Can I use my Spoon Ecu still?

I'm going from an ls/vtec back to ls. Both motors are b18b into an obd0 teg. My question is this, Can I use my gsr distributor for my ls head. Norcalgsr told me last
that I can't use the dizzy already on it as it is obd1 and will not work with my ecu! Speaking of ecus....Can I still use my Spoon(Real ecu frm spoon not a little chip) it is for an obd0 vtec, but i was just wandering since i'm not hooking up any vtec wires, than ir shld still be the same right? Just curious.

the car will run like ass if you use a vtec ecu on a non-vtec motor, the maps are different

your probably better off getting a chipped pr4 if you want to be obd0 and you will need an obd0 dizzy
