I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.

I am looking to buy a 92 Prelude Si with a h22a swap. The seller has stated that he has the reciept from the engine purchase and the swap. I live about 100mi from his location so I got him to agree to meet half way. So far things seem to be in order, carfax..

I am looking for any iformation anyone might be able to provide to help identify the engine as being the one in the documentation and any other information that might be helpful in deciding if this is the one.

    Thanks for reading..

    here

you might wanna check the carfax for the federal bureau number and find out if the cars stollen or not... that usually helps. And the engine code is on the block... look for it it'll say H22A1 (example) or whatever its suppost to be.

get a copy of his drivers license to. run the vin on the engine and the car. if it is a jdm h22, make him sign a bill of sale or take the receipt with you.
