Quick GM Fact: LS1's are 346's, or exactly 345.7 CID. :ph34r:

No more "350" Mr GM Guy.  It's just a 5.7L v8 now.

You're off by one tenth... 345.6... The displacement of the LS1 in cc's is 5665. When you graduate basic math from high school you will realize that 3665 rounded up is, you guessed it...5.7L. which if you do the math on the 5.7 it'll turn out to say 347. It's wrong, who cares? :)

CI = CC x .061

5665 x .061 = 345.565 :blink:

:p

Don't blame my math skillz, I couldn't even get close trying to make the conversion by hand. I was WAYYY off. So, I just went to a conversion page on the net and typed in the numbers I got for CC's from Chevy's website. I guess it rounded iincorrectly for me.

its all good. it was off by 1 tenth. :)

by the way guys, thanks for whoring up my thread with little known facts about bridgeport CT... :thumbsup:

:roll:
