    Does anyone know how much time is about a car length.
    in 1/4 mile race
    about how much time?
    1/10 second? a second?

    0 sec the tiem stops when the front of the cra crosses the line and when you stage the nose of your car is staged

    tahts not what he's asking. He's asking how much time a car length would be considered... say someone runs a 14 flat and the opposing car in the next lane is approximately one car length behind the winner as he goes through the traps, how much time would be elapsed before the car behind hits the traps? .1, .2, .3 seconds?

    distance vs acceleration is a horrible conprison without a constant derrivative.

    if you want to talk pulling X car lengths on people, its like saying "I run 10 psi".
    uber meaningless.
