my dads crown vic (ye i know) got this problem where it wont go above 40mph
the engine would just give no power after that
it would also randomly stop accelerating if u hit the gas, it just would not go
if u hit the brakes, make a turn , or shut it off it accelerates fine after that
the mech said it was the feul but he drained it and put new fuel in and still the same is happening
sorry that this is not a honda but hopefully some1 could pinpoint me in the right direction, i know theres some good techs on this board that know about general auto problems
only 86k miles on the thing too and giving all sorts of trouble
my legend has 113k and never had any major mechanical problems
