I have a 92 Civic that will not start. When I push the clutch in the car does nothing. The battery is fine and it wouldn't jump. If you look under the clutch peddle there is a button that has to be in the out position to get the car to start. The button is in the out position, but a piece of plastic fell out from under the dash(at my feet) that I think has something to do with the problem.

You should look at your starter, have you done any work on or around it?. There have been times that I drove my car into my garage and worked on it then it would not start, then I pop the hood and find the starter solenoid wire is either loose or not connected.
