I was driving home from work two days ago in my 88 honda civic hatchback and it dies on me on the highway, i get it back to my house and its not gettin a spark, i replace the coil because it was bad, and replace the distributor cap and its still not starting up, any suggestions? Tommorow i plan on doing the rotor and the igniter....what do you think?

check your main relay..
same thing happend to mine. i guess they commonly go out.

its a little box lookin thing under the dash on the driver side, above the hood release latch. it comes out with a 10 or 12 mil socket and a bit of prying..

there is a way to test it, but what i did, is just pulled the cover off and checked all the solder points to be sure they werent dry or cracked.. if htey are, re-solder 'em and that should fix it.. if it doesnt.. it doesnt hurt any lol
