Ok Because of a popped plug wire putting a ugly dent in hood, thinking of a CF hood, for my 2000 Si.

I plan on getting it painted to color match the car, because I like the stock look. I really dont like the look of hood pins, I know it is a for safty. From what I have seen online hood that flew up were do failling latches. So is there a hood that is safe enough not to run hood pins? Lets take price out of this, at any price is there a safe CF OEM style hood to run with out hood pins?

The fastest I will ever go is 100mph (legal drag strip, not that my trap will ever get there:D)

Also I do SCCA, ST class, would a CF hood change my class?
