I returned my Merrell's to Cabelas. the material at the tips of both shoes were coming apart. That's what I love about Cabelas, they were 3 months old and no questions asked return. Kind of disappointed in the shoes. I exchanged them for Keen Bryce Hikers. These are a heavier type shoe and the guy at Cabelas gave me a little tip to break them in. Start a hot shower with no fan running and put the sneakers on the countertop for about 15- 20 minutes and then wear thick socks for awhile after words while wearing them. They nice nice and broken in now and comfortable as shit. Love em. Hopefully they prove for durable then the Merrells i had.
