Ok, so i bought a d16z6 for my 96 hatch. dropped it in, wired it up (was done professionally by master honda tech) and it drives great, except for one problem. the cel pops on when i'm in vtec in third gear. it does it in 4th too... i'm confused by it. after the cel comes on all it does is want to "limp" home. I can have it floored in 5th gear and not go even a smudge over 80. Got any ideas to what may be wrong with this beast? 1st and 2nd gear it pulls hard, just as it should but as soon as vtec engages in 3rd that damn light pops on.
