check engine light on

The check engine light is on ,I took it to be checked and was told that its an evap problem ,?? gas cap or some other leak. I had it at honda and they found nothing. Light was reset and came back on a couple days later.Any Ideas?? its a 1998 accord 4 cyl. with 60,000miles

its true...if you dont get all the clicks out of your gas cap an evap light will come on. go to autozone have em reset it again, and if comes on again after you gas cap is tightened ALL THE WAY DOWN...youll know you have a slightly bigger problem...with regard to the cel being on.

Yes, it is the same problem

try replacing the gas cap. I work at autozone and evap/emissions codes are the most common. If the gas cap doesnt work, check the evap canister, the purge valve and solenoid. take the car to any autozone to get the light erased after fixing anything.
