cute /shrug

i love me some hatchbacks, other then the wheels looking tiny i think its alright.

id rock it ;)

Only problem is the 323 GTX is a weak engine power wise, even though it is a factory boosted engine. I personally would have put a jdm BPT in it. 180 horses out of the box, a boost controller can bring boost up to about 14-15 psi on stock internals.

Hasn't that one been in SCC before? I'm pretty sure that I've seen it in a magazine in a reader's ride section.

:werd:

A stock looking Festiva with a tweaked BPT engine could be a helluva sleeper B)

It actually doesn't look that bad. Put something bigger than 13's or whatever is on it on there, and I'd rock it.

Those cars are so light. I had a carbed one before i bought my civic. You could thrash it all day long and not worry about killing yourself. Fun car. I could only imagine how much more fun it would be with a real engine. 1750 lbs. and 58 hp stock (for 1988)

Engine:
1991 Mazda 323 GTX - 1.6 DOHC turbo engine and G25M-R transmission, new clutch, short shifter and lots of booooost... :D

I have a guy that lives about 10 miles from me... HE DRIVES AROUND ON 15 psi from a 14b..... I have seen the car run low 12s... he spent about 3 grand total..... pretty cool car

that riced out ford most likely will stomp the shit out of what you drive.

Even though the car is light and maybe fast, it is still ugly. I know we drive hondas and they are not considered a true "sports car" but at least hondas look good when they are fixed up right. Just my 2 cents. Everybody has their style.

i dunno... that shit is pretty cool

if you're ever been in or drove a festiva you know they're like a little go cart...
fit 4 full sized people in it and all...

i think thats badass, best festiva i have ever seen

and he's got 15's on it...
HUGE upgrade from the stock 12's... lol

he's got some balls to build and BE PROUD of his festiva...
this is his third one
lmao...

not for me, but i give him credit...

Actually it's a rebadged kia built by mazda.

Are you sure? I don't think Kia even existed when Ford was selling the Festiva/323.

Thats what I was thinking myself.

I do know that the 91-96 Escort is a rebadged Mazda Protege. the GT models have a Mazda strut/spring suspension, the BPZE engine and the G25m/G5m transmission.
