no offense, but fucking rice rocket motorcycles and the douches who drive them (yes i know we can compare that to ricers and hondas.....but lets forget about comparisons for a moment) are a big pet peeve of mine.

im always worried im going to hit one when they are driving in the vincinity of me because they change lanes without signaling and just drive like total assfucks.

more often than not. they are worse than the rice boys who drive riced out bling bling honda civics.

I agree a good bit of them are like that
I see it all the time and it pisses me off.

I've done a steddy 100mph before with no traffic up ahead and I've had a good 15+ bikes FLY BY me in MY lane doing 150+ IN MY FUCKING LANE what really gets me is in DC/VA/MD area 95% of the bike riders who do 150+ all the fucking time are um Tony how would you put it.... - the yellow eyes...

anyways as to the Thai Chi shit comment.
im not coordinated enough
If you don't have enough coordination to use your first I sure as hell hope I'm not around when you fire off a gun.

If you ever want to try your luck on the ground with me go right ahead I'm a light weight about 155lbs as of right now and 5.9-5.10 tall. you should have a big upper hand over me with long legs and arms..... "should"

but another thing I love about KU the amount of ground work we do becuase as you stated.... most fights DO end up on the ground about 99% of them.

patric6.jpg

That picture is of one of the first ground working drills I've learned. we have 120+ linked ground choke/submission holds based off of that drill called Na Waza
from leg locks, arm bars, presser points... the list goes on we also have a shit load of reversals so not only do you get into the shit but you have to get out!

Na Waza kinda reminds me of King from Tekken. Linked submission holds rock! and it is 80% technique. and 20% strength. my technique is so so I have many years to go before I can make it anywhere near perfect if there's such a thing. However, I still feel that I would do better on the ground then most people would =)

Can no one read?

Tab the guy BROKE the dudes helmet from hitting him so hard, and then started to punch him through the opening in the front.

Tony the dumbass GOT OFF his bike to talk to the pissed off thug

If it was me I would have kept going however, if I were to get off my bike I would not take my eyes off the dude knowing hes up to something as soon as that punch came my way.... well lets just hope years of karate will pay off.

Have you ever been shoved backwards off a porch and hit your head on the concrete upon landing on your back? I have, that shit hurts. Bleeding like crazy, I stood up and went right for the guy and choked him out. I'm not trying to be a badass, but I don't get disoriented very easily. With a helmet on, he'd have a piece of me. That guy didn't even say he was knocked out. But, whateva. I don't care how big, or what color you are. You hit me, it's on. I usually fight fair. But when someone is trying to fuck you up, you return the favor. Break the elbows, the knees, heart check, throat punch, eye gouge, pain a plenty. All's fair in love and beatings. But, everyone is tough over the internet. I'd be a lot more inclined to keep my distance from a guy that size with no helmet on. I'd do one of two things if that situation came up. Take off right away, or fight back when swung upon.

still trying to get used to this new quote system...
but I'm responding to the red part.

Yes, back in 1996 I was running from the cops in a park, had my dress shoes on (just got off work) and hopped a 10 foot chainlink fence, only to loose my footing on the slippery wet ground at night and tumbled over the fence, head over heels, 30 feet down a steep grassy hill, finally resting on my back, splitting my head open on a concrete wall.

took 45 stiches to sew me back together again.

I was so dazed from the fall, I remember NOTHING untill I finally was released from the hostpital.

But I did go into a "fantasy" type of reality where my two boys who were with me, were chilling with me and we were all just kicking it in a hippy type of world and there was a big wet river and we were walking by it......

later on, i think the big wet river was from the massive blood loss i sustained and as evidenced by the head rest of the passenger side of my mazda 323 was colored a DARK RED.

but im fine tho. no thingys that come back sometimes tosa;.sd/f.,masd.f...sdf.a.sdf.............

what the fuck are you looking at?

haha jk. im coo coo. little out of it sometimes....but i always was a space cadet ever since i was a little boy.

so that is part of my problem. i get disoriented very easily. this is in part due to the way i was born (space cadet) also due to the tons and tons of drugs i did when i was younger and also due in part to the fact that I am PRONE to head injuries and have gotten passed out every time i hit my head on something....

so to answer your question with a long story.....YES....if you get hit hard enough on the head, you will be out of it. and it fucking hurts.

LMFAO

A lot of blood. I drenched a towel. I should have gotten stitches. I have a 1 1/2 inch long scar on the back of my head where I had my brother butterfly it shut. I didn't have insurance, and I wasn't dizzy or anything. I was pissed. The porch was 6 feet up, with a 3 foot handrail. I was asked to leave a party, which was weird since I wasn't talking to anyone, just drinking a beer. I basicly was escorted out, so I didn't see any reason to fight. As I left the doorway, and turned around, two palms slammed my lower chest and I went airborne over the handrail backwards. The back of my head hit the edge of the sidewalk, the 90 degree edge. That is an eerie sound. Bone on concrete. Just lucky I guess.:shrug2:

that brings back bad memories bro....

for some reason i can still hear the sound of my head hitting concrete.

this is another reason why i dont fight anymore. im just too fucked up physically and mentally to be a good fighter anymore. i was a rockem sockem robot back in my early 20's. now im george foreman pitching my ebay sales on countless informercials....

Way too complicated for real life. I don't know about you but the last place I want to end up is on the ground rolling around in rocks and broken glass. My art teaches more along the lines of block, counter, break. I don't let anyone touch me, let alone grab me first. I've been sucker punched one and after I got done with the guy, I kind of blacked out, the cops said it looked like I beat him with a bat. Hypothetical...the punch is on its way to your face, high block it, aim for the back of their skull as you punch them in the soft tissue right below the nose and above the lip, then a round or side kick to break a knee. I don't play around when I have to fight, I hurt people as quickly as possible and that's exactly what my art teaches...if you have to defend yourself, every technique including blocks should be a break and you should end the fight with as few techniques as possible. Toying with people will get you killed.

By the way, what art do you study? I study Tang Soo Do/Soo Bahk Do.

:werd:
Wrestling around on the ground is great, but I'd rather not go there. I studied with a group of people that all did different styles. Shim Pu Ren, Tai Kwon Do, Ninjitsu, Karate, Kickboxing, and some ground fighting arts which names I can't recall. I usually use submissions, because most fights are about establishing dominance, and a choke or arm bar will do that. Everyone walks a way, virtually unhurt, and no one has to show their mommy a black eye. But I usually won't go down to the ground on the street unless I have to. Most of the time, I just avoid the fight, and talk the other person out of it, since I don't like to be violent.

"If you can't think like a coward, let your legs do it for you".

That's a favorite quote of one of my instructors.
[post=369486]Quoted post[/post]

And if you are a coward, then be a smart coward and run right away. Don't wait around to get your ass beat by a huge black male with helmet crushing hand mallets.

i'd pull out my bazooka and blow his faggot ass up....well maybe not.
sucks for that guy tho. hope he wins a shit load of money in court. if the guy broke his helmet (which are SUPPOSED to withstand ground impact at high speeds) then i honestly would like to meet someone who can take a hit like that and react to it before the other helmet crushing blows came. then i want that person as my personal bodyguard.

i would have turned at the next light after being cut off and took the long way home, without getting my ass beat or killed.
