Have a spoon chipped p72 ecu bought off ebay that codes a 21 vtec solinoid. Pulled it out and put a buddys stock b16a (p30 I think) in it and its fine. Checked the wire and its fine to the ecu. Jumped 12v to the solinoid and it clicked. Is the soliniod wire on the p72 in the same A4 slot as any other. Did they goof the ecu when it was chipped? Runs fine other than the code. Of course with the code will not kick in vtec. [IMG]

I guarantee it's a crappy fake wannabe spoon chip and I also guarantee that the chip is your problemo.
