choosing intercooler and piping

k this may be a noob q. but i can't get a straight answer.

im gonna be running a EG6 w/ ls turbo pushing ~15psi streets and 22-25psi on the track.

my question is about piping size. shud i run 3inch or 2.5in piping? and find an intercooler with 3inch inlets?

2.5 is plenty big enough.

if i can get a piping kit (universal) and one of those no name intercoolers (20x9x3 core) for $300 wud it be worth it or shud i stay away from that ebay no name stuff?

X02 intercoolers off EBay are nice. They're priced competitively and are pretty damn sturdy compared to the other ebay FMIC's I've seen.

What size turbo are you using? Small turbo, smaller piping. Bigger turbo, bigger piping. 3" seems excessive to me. 2.5" should be plenty big.

yeah, i'd stay away from ebay stuff... it's nothing but trouble. go and get a model specifickit from greddy. they make a really efficient intercooler and it's cheap too.
