When upgrading your valvetrain, many aftermarket producers such as crower, skunk2, or spoon for that matter make valves that are over sized by .05 - .1mm. When swapping these valves is it necessary to make the valve seats larger so the valves sit and fit correctly or is making the valve seats larger just an option but not necessary?

I would highly recommend Ferrera 1pc. stainless steel swirl polished valves. Whatever brand you buy make sure that they're 1pc. If you do 1mm oversized you will need to have the seats cut bigger to accomidate them. Not really worth it unless you're porting the head as well. IF you are go for it.

Skunk2 are good also. Spoon of course is but more expensive. Also get some skunk2 or crower springs and ti retainers
