Civic 94 swap~~!

hey, guys! i got a civic 94 with D15Z2 which i feel it is very slow, i was thinking swap the engine to b18c, is that possible? how much it's cost? what should i buy? My mechanic tell me it's hard to improve engine performance without swap engine because it is not fuel inject? i don't understand what is it mean? i'm supernoob about cars~~. Thank you guys help me out~~!!

youre mechanic is right.

the d15z2 (aus. only...dual carb engine) is going to be very difficult to upgrade due to lack of parts and lack of technology.

the b18c is a very good choice and does fit into the civic with a little work.

if you search around the forum, this swap is very common, and there is a lot of information scattered here and there.

I agree.. I would not waste my time attempting to upgrade that stock engine.
