civic gsr swap drop car into low gear going fast

i dropped my gsr into a low gear will shifting on the highway while going pretty fast . i guess a black cloude flew out the back . what could i hvae done ? to the motor ?? it still runs fine it just sounds like its going to stall when its just sitting is there anyway to fix it or what . please help me thanks .

I'm assuming you went from 5th to 2nd and missed 4th?

Assuming worst case scenario you smacked your piston into your valves and bent them and they dont seat properly. It could explain why your idle is crappy because you are having all this air either coming in or going out (dependant upon how poorly the valves seat.

You should pull the head and have a look at the valves to see what their condition is.
