i still have a stock d16y8 sohc vtec in my 97 civic and i gotta friend that wants to race me with his stock 2.4 dohc cavalier i don't know what kinda power it has though, both cars a manual. Just wanna know if i could beat him

all i've got is a cai but i'm savin for a swap before i do anything else. I don't think he has any mods but i'm guessing he can take me

if it anything like 96 cavilier z24 with cat back and ram air hood I bet the money on you my friend has one can we say slug I had 93 civic dx at the time with ported and polished 15.5 with only exhsaust and I beat him by 3and 1/2 car lengths
