Yes, that's right- the once dead site that I helped to admin is back up again. It's been upgraded to Invision (like HondaSwap), and has a nifty new orange and white theme. All the content is gone, so if you guys want to go over and whore a fresh new board, go hit it up.

You should be able to. The other two admins (well just one) is trying to solve some code problems right now. There are a LOT more mods installed on CL than here on HS, and that's probably the source of a lot of code issues. I mean, I never got a "CGI script misbehaving" error here.
 
i was signed in and was typing a new topic in the newbie section and when i hit the submit new topic button, it wanted me to log back in so i lost everything i typed....did that like 2 separate times and same thing happened.

CGI isn't a language, it's an idea.

You can write CGI in php, or in perl, orc in tcl, etc.
 
yea uh, i had a prelude and i was on the site... never posted much if any, didn't really have anything to say/anything that really interested me too much, being as i drive a prelude, which is nothing like a civic.

let me rephrase that for you techies :p

php can be installed in two methods- CGI or as a module

99.875% of the time, it's installed as a module.

if they have php.ini set as a cgi, i think its time to upgrade to a new server.
